Homework Remodels ~ Tri-Lite Builders
Homework Remodels ~ Tri-L... Professional Phoenix, AZ on Jan 27, 2012

When our homeowner asked Tri-Lite Builders to redesign the kitchen to make it more functional, efficient and

family-friendly, our first challenge was how to replace the lighting that the bay window provided after it was removed. The final design incorporated two uniquely shaped windows placed high above the room, utilizing the vaulted space near the ceiling. We also removed walls around the kitchen to create an open kitchen floor plan and infuse more light from adjacent rooms. The removal of the bay window then allowed us to creatively redesign that space for a contemporary range hood and backsplash design that became the focal point of this completely modernized the kitchen with it's new expanded floor plan.

The before-and-after is really shocking. I would never have dreamt it was the same space. You've achieved a look that is both contemporary and warm, and that's not an easy thing to do.

I agree with Douglas - It is hard to believe it is the same home. It is so beautiful. How long did it take to complete that room.

Thanks Harold, we enjoyed remodeling this kitchen. Many of today's kitchen remodels have been more modest in scope. We appreciate every size of home remodel. Smaller scale doesn't reduce the importance of design and style.

We love working with homeowners to maximize the effect of their remodel regardless of it's size or scope.
