Kitchen valances for the breakfast room are created to bring the color in. The walls are painted warm Tuscany color to highlight the valance fabric has contrast lining.

This is quite nice, however Ihave a question...why was matching fabric or co-ordinating color not used on the header above the sliding door blinds? Or perhaps a narrow box header the same height as the top of the drapes and then valanced like the windows to give the wrap around/finished feel?
