Finally Finished ... Kitchen is Done for Under $200

We re-did the cabinetry in our little house ... in STAGES. The kitchen was a three step job.
First we started with the island.
We used a darker color for this "stand-alone" piece.
Next, we tackled the upper cabinets.
This color is a lighter tone on the same paint strip sample as the island color.
Finally, we completed things by matching the lower cabinets with the island color. NOTE: Our diswasher died, so we covered the empty space with a little curtain, and Hubs is building a custom drawer cabinet for that space.
Here's a little closer shot.

Our cabinetry projects are featured in several different blog posts, but I will include the first, which was our bathroom. THE PRODUCTS, PROCESS AND HOW-TO'S ARE IN THAT POST.

On our blog, you can search "cabinets", "kitchen" or "bathroom" for more info or ideas. Thanks for stopping by.

That is really nice. I love the colour choice.

There are a few different styles, some are very high gloss, there are some very ornate ones which would not look out of place in a very large Victorian house. Then their are a variety of IKEA type kitchens. I personally like quiet cabinets.🐀

Huge improvement. There's always so much work involved but it's sooo worth it

Thanks. Yes, it was a lot of work, but is still holding up well and looking wonderful! We love our little house.
