Is it possible that you could post pictures of the area you plan on renovating? Having a visual idea of your project will prove to be helpful in providing design suggestions.

What are the measurements of the area you are working with? And if you can post pictures of the space that would be great.

Did you accomadate for an escape window, You cannot define a space as a bedroom if it dow not have an escape window. most people wont consider this when finishing a basement.

Yamani is correct, you need an egress windo to consider it a true bedroom by code and by real estate standards.

Good call, Yamini. When doing larger DIY projects, always research federal, state and local building code requirements to make sure your new addition is a legal one!
