Nothing goes to the dump on my watch! Sure it might take a bot more time to remove the nails from lath - but look at the glorious natural colouring on them!!! Very fun piece for storing away those blankets and pillows for the couch! If you are in Ontario, Canada and interested in purchasing anything I ever post or have a custom request, visit the website at http://www.gypsybarn.com
A close up of the top
not our reno - but an example of where everything is coming from.
Always a use for old windows! Alwaayyyyyys
the not so fun part of re-using windows
a nice shot from a distance
dont forget these little gaffers are burined under that old caulking and such ... remove them carefully they are small and sharp
nice pile of what most would think would be dump materials
remove the small nails - and re-use them in reattaching to the window. NO WASTE!
pulling out the teeny tiny glass holders
a nice close up of the lath in place
