Tiny Aquaponics Fun

My daughter and son made this tiny aquaponics system (a combination of aquaculture which is fish farming - and hydroponics which is growing plants in water). The fish have their own tank and the water from the fish tank is pumped into two small growing tanks filled with plants (baby plants in this case) in a non-soil growing medium (expandable clay pellets). Then the water drips through the plant pots and back into the fish tank.
And this happens on a continuous basis.
Here are the two plant pots and the little plants inside. Water drips from one pot into the next.
A pump takes the water from the fish tank and brings it up into the top plant pot (old Folgers coffee container).
The water is dripping back into the fish tank.
See the water coming from the plastic tubing? It is pumping up from the fish tank.
