The glass wall folds neatly onto the wall alcove for maximum effect.

I love love love them! My only problem is I live in an incredibly humid state that has lots bugs! A couple of my clients have put these in .. can't help but wonder if they are worth it for the few times a year they might actually be able to use them

IN my climate these could only be used about 2-3 months of the year, then there is that whole pesky neighbor thing.

I like being able to be and see outside, it's the best of both worlds. You would find me making a patio on the roof.

It's great if you don't have bugs. Talk about bringing the outside in.

Love the thought of this in a vacation home but realistically for the bugs, dust and moisture, I'd rather have a nice porch or gazebo and keep the house clean and pest free.

I guess nana walls are recessed doors? I'm sure my wording is not correct.

I've never seen this before but I really love the open look. It is like being outside and not.

Don't we all wish we could live in an area with a backyard like this one without BUGS?

Would you like to see more of this unique Atomic Ranch home?

Bugs can be managed: wind curtains/ citronella...

Okay. Cool name. Does it have a bomb shelter like 'Blast from the Past'?

Must be a residence in Palm Desert -- am I correct? Not only do I like but I love the Nana walls look. Gives such a wonderful openess ~~ especially when entertaining. I'd have the dead bugs cleaned up the next morning along with all of the empties!

You win the prize if there was one Bonnie B. This home is near Palm Desert in Palm Springs California.

My wife Sally and I went to the mid century modern expo in Palm Springs to educate ourselves on all homes mid century modern. The tour was great, our hotel owner wouldn't let us leave town without seeing the home he had renovated. ...»

It turned out to be this unique example of mid century modern love.He had spent three quarters of a million dollars renovating this home.

I have no clue if he sold it before the bottom fell out of the housing market.

Beautiful period and climate. Counter tops, fireplace all classy, better than original. Nice to see.

I'm diging the stone front yard it is nicely xeriscaped...I cringe at all the waste full use of water in these types of communities, golf courses etc. Its a desert after all.

must be nice not to have bugs.. mosquitos, flies, wasps, stink bugs, birds... if it has wings, it would be in my house with that wall

Very beautiful. Love bringing the outside in...but are they insulated enough to use in the cold winters of Minnesota? Be a great way to help overcome seasonal affective disorder that we get during the winters!

I have similar sliding glass doors here in Fla. we call them "pocket doors" they pocket into the wall and you cannot see them. I have this off my d.r. into the lanai and off my bedrm/office area into the lanai. It's like being outdoors. I love them.
