Let's Get Busy.... Lol...Valentine's Day Bedroom Decor

As Valentine's Day quickly approaches, I decided to get busy with decorating my house with pinks and reds. For this post, I want to show you how I decorated my master bedroom for Valentine’s Day. Can you say Bow Chicka Wah Wah??? 😉
When I first became inspired to create this bedroom decor, I started thinking to myself: Hmmmmm. Valentine’s Day Bedroom…. is that a thing?….. Hmmmmm….. I guess it’s a thing……Why not?…….. Hmmmmm….. I’m totally doing it!!!!!
I don’t typically use the colour red in any of my decor. I don’t have anything personally against “red”; it just never seems to be in harmony with other tones that I use more frequently. But, I really wanted to use my red lips pillow, so I made it work, and I actually REALLY like how it turned out, especially how the red contrasts with the pale blue walls.
I changed up my typical throw cushions for this project, and borrowed the big fuzzy pink one from my youngest daughter’s closet, two fuzzy grey ones from our den, and the other three were pulled out of my holiday closet, as I keep those around specifically for Valentine’s Day decor. I LOVE to shop my house for items to use, and love (even more) to spend as little money as possible.
I just love those red lips. Lol.
One item I did buy were these chalkboard hearts from the dollar store. They set me back $1.50, and then I used my chalk pen to spell out the banner words and grey yarn to hang it in place.
The Mr. and Mrs. mason jar mugs were purchased from the Dollar Store.
Happy Valentine's Day Everyone. Check out my blog for more DIY and home decor ideas. Bedroom
