Paper Heart Valentine Art

I am a fan of simple and pretty Valentine's Day decor. For this paper heart Valentine art I used some pretty paper and a heart punch. It's amazing what you can do with just a few simple supplies.

I started with a square piece of chipboard as a backing. I walked through my favorite craft store and picked up a piece of burlap looking paper and knew this could make something beautiful. When I got home I pulled out various shades of pink card stock and punched hearts using a paper punch.

I played around with the design and eventually came up with an ombre effect, lining everything up diagonally.

I paired this with a Be Mine heart banner and a few winter decorations I still had up. I love how the pink adds just the right amount of color to a neutral winter mantle.
