Reuse Old Tin Cans to Create Valentine's Decor

I'm seriously lacking in the Valentine's decor department. Honestly, I've never really enjoyed this holiday, but now that I have kids, I'm starting to enjoy decorating for it. However, when I decorate, I don't like to spend money, so this project was free, using stuff I found around the house and in my backyard.
I saved some tin cans throughout the week, and then painted them with chalk paint.
I used jute twine and wrapped it around each can.
I cut out the hearts from an old atlas I had laying around, and found sticks in my backyard to make cupid's arrows. I explain more about how I made the arrows in my blog post.
You could really add anything to these tins. Flowers would look so pretty in them! The link below has all of my upcycled seasonal decor, including the link to this project. I'd love for you to come stop by.
