Book Makeovers

I like decorative books so I decided to to take a few thrift store books and dollar store hardbacks and give them a new look. I painted distressed and stamped them, now they're great for decorative display.

Gorgeous! I have a couple out in the studio that I've painted with chalk paint, but that's as far as I've gotten in the transformation. Never thought of using stamps. Good idea!

Your books are enchanting! I would love to do about 3 of these with a princess theme stencil to sandwich between some DIY "crown" bookends for my granddaughter's bedroom!
