A Little Love in the Kitchen!

No, it's not quite what you're thinking, but I am showing a little love in our kitchen with this unique Valentine's Day tree!
Do you guys remember my little Halloween tree that I put in the kitchen? Well, she's back, all dressed in hearts and ornaments that match our kitchen decor!
I started out with this scrappy tree that I had been given.
The base of the tree was wired into a kitchen colander with a little bit of a fabric skirt hiding all the "innards."
I decorated the tree with some wooden ornaments that I had made and used on a wreath last year.
Then I added some black and white fabric hearts that I made a few years ago. These little hearts are so easy to make, and you don't even need a sewing machine!
The only new item on the tree is this red and black sign that I found at Hobby Lobby. The black and white polka dots had me at the first glance, as you can guess!
Such a fun way to show a little love in the kitchen, don't ya think?
Enjoyed the project?
