    i's guessing that is REAL tile - hopefully it will perform well over the years,,, usually the grout joints are not maintained & water penetrates only to collect & freeze thereby lifting/breaking the tile(s),,, you 1st notice the damage by the 'hollow' sound of leather heels on the patio,,, nevertheless, GREAT appearance !!!!!!!!!!!!!

    @ Four Seasons. It's not too slick. But I would not run around it barefoot though. That's what the homeowner and designer picked out.

    Beautiful job. Why would the homeowner let it go that far downhill? I agree with Four Season...slick and also not practical for beverages in glass; one drop glass everywhere. LOL maybe they do not entertain or have well behaved quests. This would not work out well around our pool but it is beautiful.
