How To Create A Rustic Gallery Wall & Cozy Up Your Room

No matter the season, my desire is for my home to be warm, cozy and inviting. But, can a gallery wall be cozy? I think it can and that was my goal when I recently updated my too sparse gallery wall.
I kept most of the original "bones" of the gallery, but I knew that I needed a few more rustic touches to complete the look and feel that I want for my family room.
I love to mix up textures, shapes and patterns!
A diy rustic ladder frames out the right side of the gallery.
The rustic ladder is filled up with throws and a couple of scarves for winter coziness.
An amazing shutter from an 1800's home frames the left side of the gallery.
Just look at the patina on the shutter! The original hardware is still in place as are many of the handmade nails that it was made with.
Love seeing the reflection of the gallery in the round mirror. Visit the blog post to see even more details! Do you like your home to feel cozy?
