My first hometallk post! Please feel free to comment (about the post or my garden). Any feedback is welcome!
Looking pretty bleak in March. I'm planning to create a path up the middle to herb garden ladder.
bed to right of path. Has 3 montauk daisy plants in foreground, flowering almond in corner
bed to left of path. Lavender plant survived the winter, some wildflowers starting to come up near the lattice.
Plant "ladder" my hubby made to hold my herb garden (as soon as it is warm enough!)
Collected these rocks from around the property to border the central garden path
Path in place, and things are starting to green up. I can't wait until it is warm enough to start the herb pots!
Irisis and columbine coming up in the back! I need to do some mulching before the weeds take over.

Nice job ! I like that you have a nice, fenced in little area...a cottage garden ! I'd mulch with chips, and maybe do a small pebble path...plant some gerbera daisies and hollyhock for color/height ! Paint the trellis that hides under the porch white, too ! Have fun ! (we're still under 4' of snow here in Vermont. )
