Help with painting a bronze chandelier to brush nickel

I have used a nickel spray paint on it, and it look's too silvery and shiny, is there a better
paint that I could brush on to get my brushed nickel look? I would like it to look natural as it has a lot of prism's to be attached and globes. I thank you in advance for your help in helping me .

You can use a spray paint in the brushed nickel finish. Rustoleum makes a good one, it actually gives a great brushed finish.

The spray paint is called all surface metallic satin nickel spray by rust-oleum which has a primer in it as well.

Could you tone it down with Rub & Buff?

You can also tone it down or give it a slightly aged look by using Howards Wax in Golden Oak.

Linda Johnson suggested the best product I know to help with this. I did my bathroom lights 8 years ago with Rub N Buff and they still look great! It is just what it says it is: you rub it on and buff it. Simple!!! And comes in lots of different colors although they aren't always easy to find except on line!
