I know there are some great landscapers in your area who really know their stuff and help out a lot of people here on Hometalk, including these folks: http://www.hometalk.com/member/southern_trillium_llc and these folks: http://www.hometalk.com/member/5uefoktm5b If they can't help you, they can certainly tell you who can.

I've been online, and haven't found someone that can replicate what I have. Please, give me some suggestions.
  • There is an iron works place in Atlanta near the Fabric Warehouse. I'll find the name of the person I dealt with. It has been years and I hope they are still in business. I get beautiful work from a vendor in Texas. I'll find his name and number. His prices are great as well.

Thank you I'd appreciate that. One place said they could do it with hollow tubing and the place they sent me to check out there work was terrible and the homeowner was extremely displeased with them.
  • can you post a pic of what you are trying to do? Porter Steel in Lillburn can probably do it...we've used them for lots of metal work over the years.

I'm looking for about 70 feet of it to go on the otherside of the pool and a self closing gate. I originally got it at the Pottery in Commerce, but there out of business and the new one near Gainseville doesn't carry it.
  • Before you spend all that money on this type of fence. Check with your local code official. There are special requirements regarding the type of fence that you use. While it would be hard to climb over this, a small child could fit between the bars. Making this fence useless for safety. It is one thing to use it to outline your yard and keep it friendly so people can see in. But for safety you need spaces between the bars that a tennis ball can just barely fit through. Pretty much the same as railing requirements. You will find that type of fence is real expensive. Good luck on the search.
  • Try Porter Steel and send them your pics to get pricing. I can't recall seeing that style of fence anywhere so it's probably not going to be a cheap thing to replicate. We've used Porter for years for all kinds of metal work and they've always performed well at good pricing: Porter Steel, Inc. 114 Arcado Rd.
