I have gone to the Dollar Store where I was amazed at all the different flowers they have there. Because Valentine is around the corner I am sure you will find flowers displayed there.

Michels also has senior day on Tuesday. This might help depending which flowers you purchase.

Hi Yolanda As a former floral designer I highly recommend alstroemerias. They are part of the lily family and have a small, delicate looking flower and beautiful leafy stems. They come in loads of colors (many shades of red and pink) and last several weeks after being cut. They are a lovely choice and are quite inexpensive compared to traditional Valentine choices such as roses. Best wishes!

If you want artificial flowers then yes, try a dollar store or Michael's. I thought you were looking for real flowers. Good Luck!

If you want real flowers, carnations are the way to go. They can last up to 3 weeks if you care for them correctly! You can mix both live and faux flowers in an arrangement also.

Another real flower that's inexpensive is carnations. They last a long time too.

Red, pink and white carnations, hands down. Carnations can be dyed (even at home) to any color you can get in food coloring. Roses are special but usually don't last as long as carnations....the 'every man's, every day" flower :-)
