It's Raining Shoes! Time to Organize Them.

Everyone has a vice. If your foible happens to be shoe shopping (you know who you are), we bet your closet floor has developed a bit of a "shoe mountain" vibe. Pumps, wedges, dunks and flats become a serious mess when they're stacked and stored haphazardly, but it doesn't have to be that way!
Take control of your footwear and put them in their place once and for all! (And free up some space for next season's styles.) Even if you don't have an oversized footwear collection, you could probably stand to do a little organizing.
First, you need to figure out what's staying in the closet, and what's going into storage. Ask yourself these questions:
#1. How many pairs do you need to store? Don't freak out, we're not suggesting that you decimate your shoe collection. But you don't need them all in the closet. Take a look at your closet and decide how many pairs of shoes it can realistically hold. If you have a huge closet, great! You'll have plenty of space. If not, narrow it down with question #2.
