Classic White Bedroom Furniture

I don't usually use white on my furniture makeovers. But a friend requested white on her dresser and nightstand and now I'm thinking I'll have to go with white more often! These turned out great and the distressing is simply gorgeous with the white paint!
For her dresser (shown here) and nightstand, I used the chalk paint available at Menards. I was very happy with its performance and cost!
I added a little grey to some of the detailing, like this flower, before putting on the white paint. I used a dryer brush over these areas to avoid paint leaking into the inlaid design.
This is the nightstand, finished in the same manor as the dresser. Each got new knobs and pulls, the nightstand with a little bit of added bling.
Adding natural distressing to these pieces was very easy. The paint I used sanded off nicely with a fine grit sandpaper on the edges.
