I'm not sure I understand what you're asking...are you wondering how to tie the 2 spaces together? If you want a white kitchen, by all means, go for it! If you want to tie the wood from the next room into it, you can add some touches of white here and there...maybe outline the wood door panels in white?

Not sure what your asking but you can paint your wood cabinets with chalk paint. The only prep is a thorough cleaning but now sanding needed.

I dont know what your layout is but as long as something flows from space to space the wood exist trim will be fine as is

Will you have room for an island? If so, you might consider staining the wood on the island to match your existing trim and doors, then paint your base & upper cabinets in your kitchen white. The stained wood island will not only add interest, it will warm up the area of "all white". Are you planning to put ceramic tile or wood floors in your new kitchen? If you are going with tile, you might look at the kind that looks like wood planks, and match the tone of the existing trim in your house. Hope I have been of some help!

@Sharron That sounds great. I am assuming I should match all the "main" woodork and doors?

Love the Wood Trim and Doors its very Rich looking... Like they said above, You can bring in the Wood Tones by using Wood Accessories, Real Wood Trim that matches the rest of the house around the Windows and doors, on the island etc... Can't wait til you show us pictures..

The wood trim and door color, don't have to match your kitchen cabinets. If you want white cabinets make sure they aren't foil finished, for they won't have the same integrity than a painted wood cabinet.
