Use baskets where the drawers are missing and make a feature of it or modify the chest making a strong 'shelf' across where the drawers would have been to make a small bench to sit on.The top would need to go of course if you decide on the bench idea

Suddenly thought could also be used as a TV stand or kitchen island if you add casters with brake to it. Probably tons more ideas but these are the ones that immediately spring to mind. Have fun re-purposing your chest of drawers!

As Carole mentioned, use baskets in place of the missing drawers. You could also use nice metals trays.
