Kitchen Office Wall ....A Great Before and After

Our small 1904 Craftsman just happens to have large kitchen. This post show how I decided to use that space....for a little desk area for myself!
Here is the finished product. I really enjoy having my own space (and two drawers) after having the world's my cluttered dinning room table for years! After the hubs and I both working part-time from home and having homeschooled children, I needed some space to myself!
This was how the wall originally looked when we moved in. The floor used to be a gray linoleum, but this picture was taken while we were refinishing the wood underneath.
I refinished the floors and painted the wall with chalkpaint a couple years ago. Not long after we moved in. The rest of the space I created in the past month.
I purchased the desk knobs, the antlers and the fur for the chair which totaled around $30, but the rest I either had been given, or already had in my basement storage.
I can't wait to show you tutorials for the desk lamp, the desk itself, the chair, and the valences in the upcoming weeks! For more photos click on the link to the post.
