I have an old wood fence
I have an old wood fence, I can't afford to replace it, but I do waterseal in on a regular basis to keep it up. However, my neighbor does not feel the same way and waters it all sumer long (along with his grass). He like the rustic look. What do I do.

Realistically this person is your neighbor, you need to get along. You need to inform him that you need to do maintenance to the fence not only for your reasons, but to keep the fence looking good for him to look at. Its hard when someone will not work with others, but it does happen from time to time. But do the neighborly thing first and tell them what you want to do and if he would mind you doing this.
But if they fight and you end up with permission only by going the harder route. Paint it an obnoxious color. They cannot touch this if its on your property.
