Cross-Stitched Wood Love Sign

I LOVE trying new techniques and playing with new materials - mixing them together and seeing what happens. That is exactly what I did with this Cross-Stitch Wood Love Sign - I combined my love of textiles, stitching, and my devotion to wood.
This is a pretty simple project. Simply put, it you can drill, you can do it. There is a comprehensive list of supplies and detailed steps in the blog post.
Start with a 8" x 16" board (stained or painted), a printed out template (available for FREE in the blog post), and tape or spray adhesive to adhere the template to the wood. Then center the template and get drilling.
Once dry, I used (cheap) red yarn and a carpenter or tapestry needle and started stitching X's.
So in love!
