what brand name? not all have the same battery type- one of mine uses AA, the other specialty pack from manufacturer.. have you run a google search for the use instruction and maintenance manual for drill?
  • as dfm stated, have you read the manual? my cordless drills and drivers are all rechargeable. the life of a rechargeable battery varies by brand and how often you used the drill and charged it. if the batteries are no good and it is a name brand drill, you may want to check out a new drill because the replacement batteries can be quite expensive and cost almost as much as much as a new drill. (check out Ebay and amazon for pricing). let us know what kind so we can help a bit more

If you don't have the manual for it, go to manualsonline-- you can find a manual for just about anything

If you take it to any Jerrys store. They will help you :)

yes there are many types. I even have one that has a charger you plug into the wall, then plug into the drill.
