How to use blue plates as wall decor

Is it possible to incorporate a collection of blue plates to my "old world"-Tuscan decor? I would love to put them on my walls...

If you can post a photo of the plates it would be easier to help you. If that is not possible an explanation of what they look like would also help.

Holy cow, I just wrote you a long list about using your plates and it was gone before I finished. I think if you like them you don't need someone else to tell you they look good or bad with any kind of decor. These are some of my plates and how I mounted them on my walls.

There are lots of ways to display dishes on a wall. Just make sure that you create a cohesive pattern and the plates are not too scattered across an entire surface. I just use a plate rack to keep them all together for display.

blue and white seems to go well with any style and i think that the tuscan reds and yellows will pair beautifully with your blue and white.

You could mount a plate rail across the wall. A rail has an edge that the plate rests against. Depending on how many plates you have you can have long or short ones. You can search the web for ideas and here is a site with some ideas http://www.houzz.com/plate-rail
