Be careful what you ask for and painting the ceiling.
My builder did a great job insisting that we incorporate his "signature trademark". A 4 tier trey ceiling. I absolutely loved that ceiling for 10 years. Loved to look at it when I walked in the room, loved to show it to all my guests and loved to stare at it when I was lying in bed. Loved it UNTIL I had to paint it. Yup, up and down, up and down, but it's done and although took a bit longer then expected looks fabulous. Come take a look.
