Another Old Dresser Revived #General Finishes #Annie Sloan

This dresser and there is a chest to match that was sitting in a storage unit. I purchased from someone and it was in pretty bad shape. The top is laminate and was banged up. I sanded down with my belt sander and begin painting. I LOVE this style of furniture with all the carvings. I decided to give it some pizzazz and dry brushed the top after painting a solid color.
I painted the top first with General Finishes Chocolate Brown in case I wanted to distress. I then painted with Annie Sloan Coco. I sanded back a little so just a little brown would show through in places, I dry brushed the with General Finishes Linen and I added some metallic gold paint on top.. The body and drawers were painted with General Finishes Linen and the hardware (which i changed) in Modern Masters Metallic Gold paint. Topcoat with Polyvine Varnish
