From Red and Dark to White and Bright - Bathroom Makeover

I'm so HAPPY the red is gone! This bathroom was red when we moved in so I thought painting it RED again would be easier than lighting it up. Well, our painters ended up putting SIX coats of the new RED! Oh man!!! Well, with new granite going into the kitchen, we decided to get a piece for this bathroom too. That rolled into, redoing the whole room!
The room appears so much bigger now! New toilet and hardware.
The mirror, sink and counter was replaced.
I painted the cabinet Duck Egg Blue by Annie Sloan. The granite is called Star Beach.
The mirror is from World Market. It reminds me of driftwood.
The whole room is shiplapped and painted Alabaster white by Sherwin Williams.
We placed beadboard on the ceiling to complete the look. It's very cottage/beach style and I love this bathroom!!! For more home decor and DIY fun, check out my blog, www.shabbygraceblog.com
