Twin size and a Full size headboard made from 100 year old barn wood
One of our Customers recently asked us to make two twin size headboards and a full size headboard using old barn wood. There was a large barn just over an hour away that was being torn down. We handpicked the pieces we intended to use and brought them back to the shop. After removing all of the nails we positioned the pieces together, and placed them what we felt was in a logical order.

What about wood bugs and termites??

Good afternoon @Sandy Irwin - we keep the wood indoors usually a few weeks before doing any work. If there are any visible signs of critters they are taken care of immediately.
