This is an old kitchen table I found. It had been left outside for a while so it was in rough shape. The top is Formica.
I removed the legs and apron (saved for another project). I attached the two pieces of the top together in the back. Sanded it and painted it. Now it’s a ………
Replica of a face clock from a French hotel clock tower. I sat a wine bottle and glass on the first pic so you can see how big it is.
Now to get it up on the wall.
And it keeps great time. I love that it's so large that you can actually see the minute hand move.
Hung on the wall with a hanger set made for a large mirror. This thing is very heavy! I would guess about 75 pounds.

    This is absolutely beautiful! Question: how did you determine the spacing of the numbers/markers? We've been looking for a huge clock and this is perfect!

    I guess you have to drink fast to keep the bottle and glasses from getting knocked over by the clock hands!! ;-)
