Adding Aqua

Just by adding aqua to my former living room, it really added a lot of energy to this somewhat neutral space. The addition of aqua really made the room much more interesting and exciting by adding a softly vibrant color.

A yardsale birdcage was added to the middle of an old vintage frame. Painting the table aqua brought in even more color to the space. The pottery piece is a favor...

These vintage insulators are yardsale finds too, that's one of my favorite ways to shop thriftily. Love their color and texture.

I love aqua but then I am a Pisces. I have touches of it in my home and painted our tiny guest bath walls and ceilings Tiffany Box Blue.

That for me is a perfect place to sit down with my friends and a cup of tea. I love how blue can calm the space, it is indeed my favorite shade!

I love it! I also love the way aqua brightens up a room on a dreary winter day.

Very restful, I really like it. No matter what the color scheme, a little splash of yellow, whether it be flowers, a couch pillow or throw, it adds a bit of warmth and vibrancy to a room.

I love the Aqua color! I have SW Believable Buff and Antique White in my living room and dining room and was wondering what I could use for accent color. It looks beautiful!!

Neutral furniture or white furniture allows you to paint your walls any color you want every few years for a totally different look just by changing the wall color and acessories - pillows, pictures, flowers, hats, pots, boxes or bird cages. It's alot cheaper changing the wall colors and accessories than changing furnture every 8 to 10 years.

I love the effect you've achieved! Our colour scheme in the family room is very close to yours, but we used a light taupe, cream and white as the neutrals. I've added aqua, blue and pale green (seaglass colours) to make it feel more like a beach house, and it works even in winter.
