Coffee table in need of moisturizing

I was thinking of rubbing it down with coconut oil to even out the color and grain. I use coconut oil on the minor scratches on the hardwood floors (we plan on a major refinishing job on the floors next summer), and it works well...what do you think?

I read a tutorial on using the coconut oil and it said it was very beneficial for wood so much so I am going to try it myself.

linseed oil is the usual thing used.

I agree with Rita and |Minnesota mom, linseed oi or even Peroba oil is good. Be careful, coconut oil is too sweet and may attract roches!
