I have those white ugly cabinet doors that were popular in the 80's. Is there someway to refinish them?

Paint, wallpaper, add trim, remove them, add decorative wood centers, change the hardware...depends on what it is about them you're hoping to change?

You might try painting them a soothing neutral color and adding new hardware

There are lots of products on the market that would work. Rust-oleum makes an all-in-one cabinet transformation kit. We've not used it but we've seen photos of finished results and the cabinets look good. Don't live with ugly cabinets! You can do this.

Would like to see a picture of them, I suggest the inside front panel is removed leaving the frame, and replace with clear or colored glass panels.

I agree with Lynn I have watched many shows where they paint the cabinets then add really cool hardware or handles that stand out like utensils and its not to expensive :)

Have masonite cut at Home Depot in strips and pl400 around all front outer sides of doors to make them mission style, Fill any gaps with wood filler. Sand smooth and use good primer and paint a nice colour. Use foam roller.

Mine were even older! I used chalk paint, wallpaper and trim to change the look. I finished with 3 coats of semigloss polycrylic to protect them from my kids!
