Monogrammed Wedding Napkin Ring Idea

Looking for an easy and inexpensive way to create a gorgeous wedding reception table? Here is a great idea for making monogrammed wedding napkin rings.
Have you ever used a wood burning tool before? Okay, if you haven't, be prepared, it is so much fun!
Here is a photo of a wood burning tool. They run between $20 - $25. Of course, I used a 40% off coupon!
These are alphabet letters that attach to the wood burning tool by screwing onto the tip of the tool. Always use pliers to attach your letters! This tool gets extremely hot!
These little wood circles are called Birch wood discs. They come in a bag of about 20 pieces.
These little disc are really easy to monogram. They have a natural mark in the middle that helps you center the letter. The trick to making sure the letter burns evenly onto the wood disc, is gently rocking your wood tool back and forth. If you pick up the tool after burning, and some of the letter isn't very dark, simply place the tool back over the letter and re-burn.
Next, you hot glue the disc onto ribbon and tie around a napkin. You can tuck in some greenery to give added color to your napkin ring. If you would like to see a quick video on how I made this project, just check it out below.
