How to Organize Legos in 30 Minutes & Design a Space for Creativity

I love that my daughter is so creative, but sometimes it's really hard to deal with the "creative messes" that happen naturally. She's also really into Legos, and we all know what a mess those can make (and how painful they are to step on), so I realized I had to help her come up with an easy way to contain the mess!
We had gotten her a loft bed so I decided it would be the perfect little living space for her to create and build to her heart's content!
I found this adorable, pink glass-top desk at Walmart and liked how cheerful it was and that it matched the style of the bed. The desk allows her to build and create while keeping the Legos off the floor!
I added this 3-cube organizer on the other side to provide extra seating, storage, and a place for her to lounge and read.
The fabric storage cubes are nice and deep and can store all her Legos and little creations.
I know she'll spend a lot of time here, so I wanted to make it extra special with twinkling lights above, framed printables, and drapes so she can close off her little space.

I was able to create this space in 30 minutes, and you can, too! For more photos, and links on where I found all these items, along with prices (you'll be amazed at how inexpensive the adorable rug is!), head to the blog using the link below! Can't wait to see what you dream up in 30 minutes for your kids!
