How to Make "Faux" Slipcovers

If you've ever wanted to make slipcovers but had a little 'fear', this tutorial may help you. Go to this link for complete instructions with photos. You'll say "I can do that!" :-)
And you'll see why I call them "Faux" slipcovers too! :-) If you're looking for a super easy way to cover your sofa, this might be an option. Better than a plain ol' furniture throw, not quite as intricate to do as a real slipcover.
The first step is getting good measurements of your piece of furniture. In this example I'm using my loveseat. I also used this method for my sofa. You'll see more info in the link post.
After you have all your measurements and you've cut your fabric, the next step is 'simple assembly'. Much easier than you might think. ;-)
This little "upholstery twist" is a key factor in this "faux slip cover" construction. Go to the link. You'll say "That's super easy!"

Connie - this is great and so much easier than sewing. I just have one more question...it looks like the arms were not covered. Did I not see this detail correctly? Thank you so much for posting this.
