911 Address Signs
by 911 Address Signs

Think about a time you were going to visit friends for the first time at their home. It was dark, maybe a bit rainy. You were in a neighborhood you had never been in before. You are struggling to find the right house. You can tell the houses have brass address plaques on the house, but they are not lighted or reflective, so they may as well not be there. Not much fun, huh?
Now think about a time you were doing the same thing, but this time the friend had a well-lighted or highly reflective address. Aha! I found it. Didn't that feel good.
Help visitors to your home have their Aha! moment. It is the Right Thing to Do.
Why should I care if my home has a 911 Address Signs?
• 911 Address Signs protects you and your family in the event of an emergency. The weakest link in our 9-1-1 emergency system is the inconsistency and frequently-poor quality or outright absence of home address signs across the nation. When seconds count, the vast life-saving resources of our fire, police and emergency medical services are rendered powerless if they can't find your home in time.
• 911 Address Signs help you keep things moving when it comes to your utilities. When you're anxious to have a power outage restored or start new Internet service following a move, the last thing you need is for the utility provider to run late or miss your appointment altogether because he couldn't find your home.
• 911 Address Signs make sure your packages arrive on time. Your clearly-marked home will make sure the parcel service gets those newly-ordered golf clubs to you as soon as possible.
• 911 Address Signs show courtesy to your friends and family. No need for your party guests to endlessly circle the block or call you in frustration. Your 911 address signs will help them arrive with ease.

If, like me your home is far back from the street, or your street is under construction for two years. Get a garage sale sign, not a flimsy one but something stout, or an abandoned election or realty sign and paint it up in REFLECTIVE PAINT and when you go to get your mail everyday make sure it is still out there where everyone, including rescue people can see it. ( My mailbox keeps getting moved around.)
