How to Refresh Ugly Thrift Store Frames and Their Mats in a Flash

30 Minutes
Easy
Hi All!
If the thrift store is one of your favorite haunts like me you've probably walk past the picture frame section a thousand times. They always seem to be extra awful and uninspiring. But did you know in just a few minutes you can update those old ugly frames making them look clean crisp and professional.
Here is what my two frames looked like before. They were scratched and featured two of the worst 1980's posters not to mention the blah blah yuck mats.
And here is what the looked like after. To see all the details, steps, and paint colors please click over to my blog at the bottom of this post.

What do you do to fix a mirror that has a beveled edge that has become unsilvered the edges were added to the bathroom mirror 30 years ago and glued on. Removing it is not an option. Contact paper not holding. Mirror itself is perfect and six foot long.
