I have a client that has a kitchen just like this and had a white sink, white cooktop and white oven. They love them and so I have not said anything, however they tend to stand out.
I agree SawHorse! I was thinking the same exact same thing. I think I would have installed a black sink or a stainless. However! I find the Cabinets & countertops to look amazing. Enjoy!
As to the darkness, I think that is the camera in some of the photos, but I agree that the sink colour is wrong. Also the L shaped island seems weird. It might feel different in person, or it could be me - having never seen one before like that.
But overall I like this - not bad for a small space.
I did not see a plate rail so that comment has me confused.
Beautiful work on the cabinets but an example of great work getting chunked up by a poor choice in sinks. Did they re-use these? Matt is being kind...they ruin the look of the kitchen. We run into this with clients all the time...although we now refer kitchens out and stick to home repair & maintenance issues as our specialty. Homeowners on a high dollar project should always invest in the opinion of a professional or two just to get a clear idea of what they can, the costs and to maximize the value & impact of what they are doing.
