Gumwood trim
We installed a wainscoting in an older home in Irondiquoit.
The house had really gorgeous gumwood trim. We used soft maple (sugar maple) and poplar plywood to mimic it. We could have used Gumwood but the cost would be prohibitive.
When it was done, it looked as if it had always been there.
