I am almost finished working on a design project for someone I work with and she needed a new media center. Requirement: turquoise. This colour is a custom mix chalk paint using Benjamin Moore Origins French Blue. I went to work painting and repairing to make it look like a Tiffany box. Check out the post for more photos.

Meaghan G on May 22, 2013Hey everyone. I use chalk paint because of most of the reasons already stated. No priming, no prep work but it also gives a matte finish that becomes velvet smooth with your wax topcoat. I am extremely partial to Annie Sloan paint but for this particular project, my client wanted an electric turquoise paint so it was just easier to make my own.
