While at a yard sale, I looked at this night stand that had a hole in the top. When I asked how much, the owner told me if I wanted it to take it for free because it couldn't be fixed............ahhhhh........he had not met my husband! So off it went to our house.
Next he cleaned it up, cut a piece of thin paneling and glued it to the bottom of the table top (after taking the drawer out of course). After letting that dry, he got some wood filler at the discount store and after allowing to dry, he sanded it down smooth with the veneer table top. Then he took the pull off the drawer, soaped up the rollers for a smoother open/close and then he sanded and spray painted it all - Krylon Navy Blue, Putty, and the pull is Silver.
You can't even tell there was a hole there! He does such a great job with my ideas.
This will be our new foryer table for phone charging and key laying and our shoes will go in the bottom! Hope you like it as much as we do!
