If you remove the frame and fill in the holes with the caulking that was spoken about previously, then you should have no problem reinstalling the frame again in the future. In fact it will be easier than doing a new install. The caulk will not get rock hard, it will remain "rubbery" so that means you can just put the screws right back into the old holes and not need to drill new ones through the tile. -
Dan of Central Florida....Yeah, I was kinda thinking that same thing you mentioned. The other nice thing about our former house bathroom was that it had a window....ah, the comfort of having that open in beautiful weather. We could install a window above the tiled shower area here ...but that's a project for another day (or year). -
We have a small window in our shower as well. I agree, it is really great to have open in the nice weather (which is January - February down here). It's also great for letting out the steam from the shower or to be able to take a shower and not waste energy by needing to turn the lights on to take a shower during the day. :)
