Some of my clients in other countries lead a much more formal lifestyle than my clients in the USA.
These are a few pictures of two jobs we did for a Panamanian client. They were a wonderful older couple who live more formally with a staff of people to look after them. We designed their home in Panama as well as one in Miami. The look was perfect for them although I would not want to live in either place.
Once again a happy client is a good client, the homeowner was dying of cancer when we were working on the Miami home so we had to rush through some things so he could see it finished before he passed away.

Miami living room. For the molding we used picture frame material to have the antiqued finish for a speedier job. The client was dying of lung cancer and wanted to see it finished for his wife before he passed.

Entry with custom tropical marble design. Color on the door is before the antiquing so it looks brighter than the final finish.
Doors to den, she wanted a Brazilian theme as a daughter lives in Brazil
Hallway. Silk flowers are for the lady of the house, they live in the tropics and she wanted greenery but since they are not here often live plants were out of the question

I would love to see pictures of the Panama home taken w/professional lighting. I am betting it looks very lush and opulent, rather than the subdued dimness that appears here.
