Make a Tabletop Chandelier With Wax Paper Capiz Shells

I saw capiz shell light fixtures and I wanted one. Of course I had to DIY instead of buy, cuz that's what I do. A lampshade frame on a brass lamp, Dollar Store wax paper, a circle paper punch and hot glue and....Voila! Tabletop faux capiz shell chandelier!
I just LOVE the way this project came out. It really lights up the corner of the hallway. This project is much easier than it looks.
Iron four layers of wax paper together and punch your circles out with a paper punch. Sew them together to your needed length and hot glue to the lampshade frame.
It even looks great during the day. Now I want to make more and redo my dining room light fixture. Maybe with glitter or colored tissue?
