perennial garden update

Well, it's off and growing now! Really greening up. No blooms yet, but some should appear soon.
It's filling in (with weeds!), and lots of good stuff too.
I transplanted my helebore to a shadier spot and added a cardinal flower to this side of bed. Otherwise, it's filling in on its own.
I've added a bee balm plant to the rear, and planted a primrose that was given to me as an Easter gift. Still looking a bit sparse on this side though.
I am so excited about columbines. I hope they do well in their new spot!
flower buds on the daisies!
A couple of my bff's! I didn't want to leave them out.

I find this so delightful... just so sweet. I'm going to copy some of your ideas.... when Spring comes to Massachusetts in 2014. I now it is on it's way. It always arrives just after winter. Happy New Year and Happy Always. ES

If you had some pulsatilla vulgaris, you'd get a nice early bloomer. I love that plant.
