Thinking of enclosing this porch with mostly glass, making it into a mud room.Opinions on doing it, and the cost.

As the others have mentioned, you may want to go with a screened porch instead just for the heat gain issue. You can have glass panels made for it if you'd like to use it more in the winter...but with global warming...it doesn't seem to be getting very cold around here. Instead of glass, you could add a fireplace and stay perfectly cozy even in the winter weekends.....

this is my first time on here and i would make sure you use windrows so you can get the fresh air in . that was my mistake when i just used glass. u need the fresh air.. and u will enjoy it match better.
