This is our Before and After Pic of the planter chair we posted a few days ago :)

We picked a duo pair of old chairs at a thrift shop and gave them new life as planters for a front porch!

Great way to extend the life-cycle of this chair!

Beautiful. I have "upcycled" a few wooden chairs from the trash. I usually paint them a bright color & add them to my garden. If I'm lucky, they last a couple years before falling apart. I'm always on the look out for a new chair.

Yup..think I will..how about a bright fuschia? We have lots of broken down chairs at yard sales here, (doesnt anyone have any GOOD furniture around here?) And our goodwill and thrift stores are just as bad!

But i can do this! Looks like fun, and my wheelbarrow on the other end of my little garden!

I will have to post my little garden for ideas, including the straw bales I want to incorporate.

Interesting idea! Wish we had kept our old papasan chair.

Bernice - broken down chairs.... not a problem and a fun project - take apart and put back together, mixed up - not take the whole thing, just legs, backs, etc. - the easy parts. One of a kind, funky, whimsical chair
